Samuel R. Grigg, 83, of Route 2, Mountain Home, died Saturday at his home on the Arkana Road, southeast of here. A retired farmer and laborer, he had resided in Baxter County for 15 years. He was born Feb. 7, 1888, at Chapman, Kans.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Grigg of Route 2, Mountain Home; six sons, Keith of Scottsbluff, Neb., Charles of Trenton, Neb., Joe of Flippin, Earl of Libby, Mont., Elry of Fennville, Mich., and Vernon of Landon, N.D.; a daughter, Mrs. Ila Kasinger of Grand Junction, Mich.; 35 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral service was scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Memorial Chapel. Interment was to be in the Norfork Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure-Smith Service.
