OBITUARY

KENNETH S. JEWELL

The death of Kenneth S, Jewell occurred suddenly Tuesday morning of this week at his farm home near Milford following a heart attack. He was 53 years of age.
Mr. Jewell, a farmer by occupation was born in the town of Milford on May 6, 1904, a son of Melvin and Grace (Gano) Jewell. He was a member of the Westville Grange, and for 25 years served as a canvassing committeeman for the Otsego County Extension Service.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Thomas, at home; two brothers, Ernest Jewell of Westville, and Harold Jewell of Schenectady; three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Webb and Mrs. Fred Ottaway, both of Cooperstown RD. and Mrs. Clymera Alexander of Franklin; and several niece and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Milford Methodist Church, with the Rev. Philip N. Pitcher, pastor,officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery [Should read Westville].
