Warner Eli Hester of Wadley .Rt. 1, age 79, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 25, at 12:30 a. m.
Mr. Hester is survived by his wife, Mrs. Roxie Hester of Wadley Rt. 1; five sons, Bob Hester of Fort Worth, Texas, Ford Hester of Detroit, Mich., Emm Hester Wedowee, Jeb Hester of Fairfax and Buddy Hester of Shawmut; 6 daughters Mrs. Bernice Knight, Mrs. Jimmie Knight, and Mrs. Mary Will Alexander of Wadley, Mrs. Ephie Eiland and Mrs. Emma Phillips of LaFayette, and Mrs. Ina Mae Mitchell of Chicago, and one sister, Sally Dunson of Roanoke.
Funeral services for Mr. Hester were conducted at 3 oclock Thursday afternoon from Forresters Chapel Methodist Church by Rev. J. H. Harris and Rev. Wallace Roberts. Burial was in the church cemetery, Quattlebaums Brown Service Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
