Mrs. Eiland
LAFYAETTE -- Mrs. Ephia Eiland, 77, of LaFayette died Suddenly Saturday at Randolph County Hospital after a brief illness.
Services are scheduled for today at 2 p.m. CDT at Sanders Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifford DeLee officiating. Burial will follow in Shawmut Cemetery.
Mrs. Eiland is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Shockley of Fairfax and Mrs. Louise Tyson of LaFayette; two brothers, E. A. Hester of Roanoke and Bud Hester of Lanett; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Will Alexander of Roanoke, Mrs. Emma Phillips of Lanett, Miss Ida Mae Hester of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Jimmie Knight of Roanoke; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Ms. Eiland was a native of Ranodlph County and a former resident of Shawmut She was a member of Shawmut Methodist Church.
Sanders Funeral Home of LaFayette is handling the arrangements.
