Johanna Kuehl
Mrs. Johanna Kuehl, 80, died late Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rueben Rabe in New Holstein. She had been living there for the past three months.
The former Johanna Drews was born in the Town of New Holstein on April 30, 1884, a daughter of the lat Mr. and Mrs. Hans Drews.
She attended the district schools and was married to Edwin Kuehl on Feb. 22, 1905, at New Holstein. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, the Cemetery Ladies Aid of New Holstein and Good Cheer Homemakers Club. Her husband died Nov. 12, 1950.
Surviving are three sons, Gilmore of Clintonville, Arwin and Hilton, both of New Holstein; a daughter, Mrs. Ruben (Anna) Rabe, New Holstein; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Schmeiser, Chilton.
Funeral services will be at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home, New Holstein. The Rev. Charles A Koch, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in the New Holstein cemetery.
