She was born Jan. 21, 1883, in the town of New Holstein, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans and Margaret Drews. She attended New Holstein schools and was married to Edward Schmeiser Nov. 21, 1905, at New Holstein. He died in 1948.
Mrs. Schmeiser was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Chilton, the GUG Germania Society, the Ladies Guild of the church and the Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving are four sons, George of Sheboygan, Herman, R. 1, Chilton, Clarence (Sammy) Two Rivers and Victor of Honolulu, Hawaii; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Another son also preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Ebenezer Church. The Rev. Quentin Moeschberger, pastor officiated with burial in Hillside cemetery.
