Mrs. Bowen was born Aug 1, 1912, at Rocky Ford. She came to Fort Collins at the age of 6. She was a homemaker and private housekepper and was active in church. She was a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Bowen of Skokie, Illinois, and Terri Stickel of Frisco; a son, Jim Bowen of Fort Collins; a brother, Florian Pfeifer of Golden; six sisters, Luella Sutton, Gertrude Willox, Julia Willox and Tillie Zwenger, all of Fort Collins; Bertha Roberts of Wheat Ridge; and Barbara Beavers of Denver; and three grandchildren.
