Joseph Pfeifer, 70, of 121 N. Whitcomb St. died Wednesday at Poudre Valley Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are pend at the Warren Funeral Chapel.

He was born Aug. 3, 1909 in St. Peter, Kan.

He married Louise Dreiling in Ellis, Kan., Nov. 9, 1937. She survives.

He worked with Colorado and Southern Railroad as a section laborer and has lived here since 1929, when he moved from Sterling. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Other survivors are his children, Mary Ann Jordan of Fort Collins and William Joseph of Azores Island; nine brothers and sisters, Julia Willox, Tillie Zwenger, Luella Sutton, Catherine Wasinger, Florence Bowen and Gertrude Willox, of Fort Collins, Beata Roberts of Wheat Ridge, Florian Pfeifer of Lakewood and Barbara Beavers of Denver; and seven grandchildren.
