Catherine Wasinger, 78, of Omaha, Neb., and formerly of Fort Collins, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1986 in Nebraska.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in Warren-Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Guy Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Mrs. Wasinger was born in St. Peter, Kan. She married Carl L. Wasinger. He died on Oct. 2, 1966.
For 28 years, she was the owner of Ideal Cafe, which she bought from her mother, Mary Wasinger. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Leona McCormick of Omaha, Mary Carter of Phoenix, Ariz., Frances Hayes of Seattle and Lenora Wheeler of Garden City, Kan.; a son, C. J. Wasinger of Denver; seven sisters, Gertrude Willox, Julia Willox, Matilda Zwenger, Florence Bowen and Luella Sutton, all of Fort Collins, Barbara Beavers of Denver and Beata Roberts of Wheat Ridge; a brother, Florian Pfeifer of Golden; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to a charity of choice, in care of Warren-Bohlender.
