Bunker Hill--- Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothea H. Gardner, 45, Bunker Hill, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Allen Funeral Home here with the Rev. Austin Gable officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Gardner died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday in Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru, following a several month illness.
Born Mar 25, 1925 in Miami County, she was the daughter of Oscar and Grace (Howard) Hollenback.
On Dec. 31, 1947, she was married to Dale L. Gardner, who survives with the mother of Bunker Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Hanson, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, and two sons, Paul Gardner, Ft. Riley, Kan;, and Samuel Gardner, Bunker Hill; three stepchildren, John T. Gardner, Bunker Hill; Jerry Gardner, Walton R. R., and Mrs. Mary Bingham, Grand Forks, N.D.; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren.
Also surviving are five brothers, Ruben, Willam and Jack Hollenback, all of Bunker Hill; Richard of Miami, and Glenn of Sharpsville, and three sisters, Mrs. Jean Payton, Paoli; Mrs. Marjorie Stewart, Kokomo, and Mrs. Maxine Ehnen, Alabama.
