PERU, Ind. -- Services for Dale L. Gardner, 76, 31 Plaza Drive will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Springdale Cemetery, Bunker Hill. The Rev. Austin Gable will officiate.
Friends may call at Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Gardner died at 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 1987, at Miller's Merry Manor here.
Born Oct 27, 1910 in Warren, he was a son of John and Merle (Blue) Gardner. He was married to Dorthea H. Hollenback on Dec. 31, 1947, who died Feb. 13, 1973.
Surviving are four sons, John Thomas Gardner of Michigan City, Jerry and Sam Gardner, both of Peru, and Paul Gardner of Spokane, Wash., two daughters, Mary Bingham of Bunker Hill and Peggy Hanson of Spokane; and 14 grandchildren.
A son, two brothers, a sister and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
