---LIVINGSTON - Funeral services for Jonathan A. Allred, 87, of Livingston will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in Overton County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Allred died on Monday, May 25, 1998, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1911, in Overton County to the late Baley Fred and Arminda Smith Allred. Mr. Allred was a coal mine operator.

His family includes his wife, Ova Neely Allred of Crawford; three daughters and a son-in-law, Charlotte Walker of Cookeville, Joanna Holloway of Monterey and Priscilla and David Baxter; four sisters, Jimmie Bullock and Nawausa Hargis, both of Livingston, Danise Vaughn and Patra Copeland, both of ; a brother, Dr. B.F. Allred of Jamestown; a special nephew, Dr. Michael Allred of Jamestown; grandchildren, Jane Walker Enochs, William E. Walker, Amy Walker Scholz, Jonathan Paul and William Samuel Holloway, Holly Holloway Hall, and Billy Bob, Dava Lynn and Dee Ann Baxter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell (Bud) Allred; and two sisters, Lee Hargus and Sally Brown.

Dr. Martin Thielen and Rev. Baley Fred Allred will officiate at the services.
