Terminated Fatally
Lincoln Wright of Zilwaukie, died yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. For the past four weeks he has been suffering from an abcess (sic) in his throat, which was the cause of his death. Mr. Wright was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. He was a member of the Zilwaukie M.E. church choir and was a young man who will be sadly missed in the community. He was about 30 years of age. He leaves a wife and two children. The funeral will occur at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning from the M.E. church of Zilwaukee.
No death certificate was issued by the county or the State of Michigan; we have had them search four times. We can get a delayed death record prepared for him but the state of Michigan wants a lot of money to have this done.
His wife was Edith Joanna Lathrop (1860-1899)
His children were Edward Lincoln Wright (1888-1967) and Ella Carolina Wright (1891-1970).
