Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, 81, former rural school teacher and a lifelong resident of Saginaw county, died Tuesday at the Saginaw county farm. Elizabeth was born Aug. 6, 1854 (typo we have 1851) in Zilwaukee. She attended the schools there and taught school for many years. She was married in 1883 to William P. Johnson, who died 13 years ago. Mrs. Johnson had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Glover until a short time ago.
Mrs. Johnson leaves a daughter, Mrs. Erwin Kinch of Standish; three nieces and a nephew, Mrs. Leo Bissonette, Mrs. Ethel Irish, Mrs. Harold Miller and Raymond Glover, all of Saginaw. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Wallace & Honey funeral home. James Street of Bay City will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood.
