N. Ruth (Croyle) Duncan of Kittanning died November 14, 2010 at her home. She was 82. She was born on January 5, 1928 in Kittanning to Samuel and Nora (Lasher) Croyle. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area. She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed watching football and baseball as popular pastimes. She is survived by her son, Sammy Duncan of Kittanning; a granddaughter Kayla Duncan of Kittanning; a grandson Austin Dunbar of Kittanning; a brother Floyd Croyle of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Duncan, who passed away on January 23, 1991; a brother Thomas Croyle; and three sisters: Mable Schaub, Mary Richardson, and Margaret Schaub. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday at the funeral home, with additional visitation from 10AM until the time of the service. The Reverend John Snyder will officiate. Interment will take place in the Kittanning Cemetery.
