"The death of Mrs Mary, wife of Mr George Goebel, occurred last night at their home on Travis and Leeland streets, at the hour of 11:30 o'clock. It was a terrible blow to the devoted husband and loving children. They have the sympathy of many friends in his city. The death of a loving mother and fond wife leaves an aching void in hearts that will ever grieve for the departed. The funeral took place this afternoon at 5 o'clock from the Church of the Annunciation on Crawford street.
