JONESBORO - Services for Mrs. Nena Minerva Jordan Jewell will be at 2 p.m.today in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with the Rev. Rod Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery at Tannehill under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jewell died Monday July 27, 1981, in Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro after a long illness. Mrs. Jewell was born January 22, 1892 to the union of Thomas Alexander Jr. and Jerusha A. Fox Jordan.

Survivors include three sons, Gordan James of Bloomburg, Texas, Aubrey Jewell of Columbia, Olin Jewell of Winnsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Durelle Gary, of Columbia, Mrs. Willie Mae Walker Brown of Quitman; Mrs. Yvonne Ross of Fort Necessity, and a sister Mrs. Cecil Jordan Wallace of Jonesboro; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Visitation will be in the funeral home until time of services.
