Mr. Latham

Lawrence W. Latham, 83, of Rt. 1, Town Creek, died Saturday at Decatur Hospital.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Landersville Church of Christ with the Revs. James R. Glenn and R.C. Borden officiating. Burial will follow in the Landersville Cemetery with Elliott Funeral Home of Moulton directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Lee Latham; daughters, Mrs. Bertha Blankenship, Mrs. Natilee White, both of Moulton, Mrs. Ruby Pickett of Gardendale, Mrs. Noreen Laugevin, Pontiac, Michigan, Mrs. Ruby White, Huntsville, Mrs. Barbara Rutherford, Leighton, Mrs. Faye Miles, Buford, Ga., and Mrs. Betty White, Olive Branch, Miss.; sons, Gordon Latham, Phil Campbell, Bobby Latham, Moulton, and H.J. Latham, Decatur; sisters, Mrs. Celia Sandlin, Moulton, Mrs. Lucy Miller, Tarrant City, and Mrs. Minnie Hopkins, Moulton; brother, Fennell Latham, Landersville; 32 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Willard Blankenship, Don White, Jerry Latham, Farrell Rutherford, Mark White, and Bill Miles. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.

The body will be at the residence until time for the funeral.

Mr. Latham was a veteran of World War I, a retired farmer and a member of the Landersville Methodist Church.
