Henrietta, 70, 3281 Ohio 118, St. Henry, died at 5:45 p.m., at Community Hospital. She had been seriously ill the past month.

She was a daughter to Henry and Emma (Thieman) Schmitmeyer. On Apr 20, 1937, in Minster, she married Herman J. Hoying, who survived her.

Also surviving were six sons, Norman and Mike, Coldwater, Fred Madison, IN, Ron, Cincinnati, Richard, Indianapolis, IN, and Fr. Mark, Falls Church, VA; nine daughters, Sr. Barbara Hoying and Sue (Stan) Zielinksi, Cincinnati, Connie (Ralph) Guggenbiller and Diana (Dennis) Siefring, Fort Recovery, Janice (Jerry) Rindler, St. Henry, Mary Therese (David) Reilly, Berea, KY, Helen Hoying, at home, Lois (Robert) Hartings, Piqua, and Lucinda (John) Hamberg, Coldwater; a brother, Fred, Minster; six sisters, Mathilda Poeppelman, Rosa Enneking and Elsie (Elmer) Borgert, all Minster; Clara (Edwin) Schmiesing, Anna, and Velma (Bernard) Wellman and Marie Holdheide, both Coldwater; and fifty grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Kenneth; a daughter, Beverly; a grandchild; two brothers; and a sister.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, St. Monica's Women's Sodality and the Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Maria Stein.

A funeral mass was in the St. Charles Seminary Chapel, Carthagena, the Rev. Mark Hoying officiating.
