Funeral services for former Coyle resident Cora E. ALLISON, 89, Hutchinson, Kan. will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, in Hutchinson. Rev. Nell Holmes will officiate the services with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery also in Hutchinson. She was born May 19, 1901 in Coyle to James William DOWNEY and Mary Louise VENTRIS. Mrs. ALLISON died October 14 in South Hutchinson. She married Tolbert W. ALLISON December 8, 1917 in Stillwater. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1985. She is survived by four sons, Lester, Otes, Robert, and Ray; six daughters, Vera, LaVina, Mae, Marie, and Nell and LaVeta; 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.

Cora Allison lived a long and loving life as wife, mother of 10, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Among her family, friends and neighbors she was also renowned as a superlative baker of delicious desserts.
