NEWELLTON — Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home for W. W. [sic O.] (Tebe) Caldwell of Newellton. The Rev. R. E. McDonald officiated.
Burial was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery at Crowville. He died early Sunday morning in St. Charles Legion Memorial Hospital in Newellton after a long illness.
Mr. Caldwell was the owner and operator of a general merchandise store and a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vera Payne Caldwell of St. Joseph; one son, James Caldwell of New [York] City, N.Y.; two brothers, Otho Caldwell of Alexandria, and Ollie Caldwell of Crowville; one sister, Mrs. Lula Mae Clark of Newellton; and two grandchildren.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
