Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Caldwell, Route 2, of Columbia, died Saturday morning at 7:30, were held Sunday evening at 3:00 in the Pentecost Church at Clarks. Rev. J. R. Franks officiated, assisted by Rev. Herman Hays, pastor of Baptist Church in Grayson. Interment followed in Welcome Home cemetery.

The deceased was buried on his 63rd birthday. He was the oldest child of a family of 18 children.

Survivors include: Wife, Helda Caldwell; one son, Billie Mack Caldwell; mother, Mrs. W. H. Caldwell, Tallulah; four sisters, Mrs. A. A. Dudkye, Vicksburg, Miss.; Mrs. Clyde Clark, Tallulah; Mrs. Alice Little, Monroe; Mrs. Viola Braddly, Winnsboro; seven brothers, J. L. Caldwell, Delhi; Victor Caldwell, Winnsboro; Wilmer Caldwell, St. Joe, La.; Otho Caldwell, Alexandria; Joe Caldwell, Newton, Miss.; Ollie Caldwell, Winnsboro; Edgar Caldwell, Rayville, La.

Pallbearers: Jesse Thompson, Hebert Thompson, Henry McGuire, Frank McGuire, Raymond Floyd, Lacy Whittington.
