Robert O. Brumfield Died in Maryville
Robert O. [lin] (Bert) Brumfield, 48, died at St. Francis hospital, Maryville, early Saturday, after becoming ill Friday evening while riding with his wife.
He had been an employee at the Cudahy Packing Company here for 10 years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Wetmore Funeral home. Rev. Fred H. Cowles of the Baptist church officiated. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.
Survivors are his father, Robert Brumfield; his wife [Anna Fern Irvin]; three sons, Elgin and Ronald of Bedford, Elvin of the United States Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Willa King of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. H. [armon] S. Miller [Bessie Aletha] of Bedford.
The son of Robert and Anna Brumfield, Mr. Brumfield was born in Taylor County, Jan. 25, 1903. He later moved with his parents to Sheridan, Mo. He was baptized at the Christian church there.
June 2, 1926, he married Anna Irvin.
