Wayne E. Mohnsam, Sr., 60, of 20620 Carstens Lake Road, Valders died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, December 16, 2006 at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born may 29, 1946 in Greenbush, son of the late Edwin and Dorothy Triphan Mohnsam. Wayne attended Sheboygan Falls High School. He was a veteran of the US Army serving his country from 1965-1971, being station in Korea.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Rosemary Smasal Mohnsam.
Wayne was employed at Lake-to-Lake in Kiel for 20 years retiring in June 2004. After retirement he worked part time at Farm & Home in Chilton.
Wayne was a "jack of all trades" fixing just about anything that needed to be repaired. He enjoyed camping, gardening, cutting wood and country music.
Survivors include his wife Rosemary, three children; Wayne Mohnsam, Jr. Of Stockbridge, Jennie Irwin of Valders and Jerald Fermanich of Plymouth, two step children, Vickie Bryant of Kiel and Crystal Van De Hay, Kiel; and three grandchildren.
He is further survived by one brother and five sisters; Darlene (Charlie) Fizer, Iowa, Carol Mohnsam, Sheboygan, Lucy (Wayne) Simonich, Illinois, David (Pattie) Mohnsam, Sheboygan, Linda (Sam) Felten, Arkansas, Brenda (Ken) Schultz, Cascade.
Funeral services will be held at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
