Funeral services for Thelma Hodges 91, of the Evergreen community will be held Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Union Church in the Evergreen community with the Rev. Floyd Stratton officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Hodges was born March 31, 1917, to Pharris and Mamie Childs of the Evergreen community and entered into rest March 24, 2009, in Minden.
She was a member of Evergreen Union Church.
Her husband, Cecil Hodges and son, Larry Paul preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Eddie Paul and wife Etta of Evergreen; daughters, Florence Goyanes and husband Tony of Evergreen and Frances Foster of Evergreen; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandson.
