From the biography of her brother, John Frain:

The eldest (child of Peter and Rebecca (Bilger) Frain), Sarah, was born March 20, 1809, died February 6, 1893, and was buried in the Winamac Cemetery. In her girlhood she became the second wife of Lewis Guss, who was a tailor by trade. She bore him eighteen children, eight of whom are living, and Edward and Peter reside in Pulaski County.
