Mrs Julian Guss Hoover, widow of Jonas Hoover, died Tuesday forenoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. William Lytle in Mishawaka. The elderly lady has been in failing health for some time, from complications incident to her eighty-four years. Mrs. Hoover was born in Pulaski County on September 11, 1846, and lived in the vicinity of Winamac all her life until six years ago, when she went to Mishawaka. She was married in 1865 to Mr. Hoover, who died eleven years ago at the family home two miles north of town. Surviving the mother are sons John of Logansport and Henry of Minnesota; daughters Mrs. Mary Brown of Ripley, and Mrs Lytle. There are eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held at the Winamac Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 0'clock. Burial will be in the Winamac cemetery.
