Miss Iva Marie Shupe, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Flem A. Shupe, passed away at her home near Vergennes on Wednesday, May 19, 1926. Of the tender care that was given her during her two weeks of illness, she passed peacefully away. Death being due to peritonitis.

Iva was thirteen years, three months and fourteen days old. She was born in Virginia, moving to the place where she died when a small child. She was a member of the New Bethel Church and a member of the Junior league of the same church.

Surviving relates are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Flem A. Shupe and siblings, Elvein, Horace, Grace, Nina Maude and Hazel Evelyn. One sister, Ethel, preceded her in death.

Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending word from relatives in Virginia. Services will be conducted at the New Bethel church by Rev. O. T. Rogers. Interment will be in Central Cemetery.
