Funeral for Twilight McWhorter Royer, 75, of Decatur will be Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at noon at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Mrs. Royer, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at her residence, was born Nov. 4, 1931, in Morgan County to Richard Clifton and Ethel Sockwell McWhorter. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Royer; three brothers, Jewel R. "Mac" McWhorter, J. Kenneth McWhorter and R.C. McWhorter Jr.; and one sister, Ethel Sue McWhorter.

Survivors include a sister, Telette McWhorter Napps of Decatur; five nephews, Mike McKean, Mark McWhorter and Joel McWhorter, all of Decatur, F. Gregory Napps of Florence and Richard E. Napps of Cartersville, Ga.; two nieces, Tana Napps Willingham of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and Lisa McWhorter Hart of Arab; seven grand-nephews, Alex McWhorter, Jason McWhorter, Tyler Hart, Michael McWhorter, Josh Willingham, Brandon Napps and Barrett Napps; seven grandnieces, Jessica McWhorter, Morgan Hart, Anna McWhorter, Allison Napps Smith, Jennifer Napps Mahathey, Hannah Napps and Amanda Willingham Lennon; and six great-grandnieces and nephews.
