DOROTHY ELAINE SHAN, AGE 54, OF NOBLE DIES

. Dorothy Elaine Shan, age 54, of Route 1, Noble, passed away last evening at the family residence.
. A lifelong resident of the county, Miss Shan was born in Noble township the daughter of Russell Shan and Edna Rusk Shan. She was never married. She was a member of the Noble United Methodist Church.
. Besides her parents, she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Robert (Floy) Sterchi of Olney, Mrs. Kent (Betty) McKnight of Ft. Worth, Texas, Mrs. Glenn (Carol) Peters of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Lee (Carmen) Hogue of Olney, Mrs. Raymond (Janet) Miller of Robinson, John Shan of Olney, Jerry and Steve Shan, both of Noble. A brother, James Russell Shan passed away in 1935. She also leaves 13 nieces and nephews and one grand nephew.
. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Noble Cemetery.
