John Abraham "Buster" Franklin was born January 21, 1908 in Stanton, Martin County, Texas. He was the tenth of twelve children born to Anderson and Blanche (Stone) Franklin. He was 33 years old when he married Elva Adams on June 2, 1941 in Glendale, California. He served in the Army from 1942 through 1945. He worked for 22 years with the City of Glendale in Sewer Maintenance. He was residing in Burbank when he passed away on February 3, 1994. He was 86 years old. Burial was at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood on February 8, 1994.
