I found her maiden name on the death cert. of daughter Emma Jane [Hunt] Mitchell.
She is listed on a family tree as Mariah Elizabeth Hardcastle, married to Enoch Jones, and to Hugh Hunt. I am not sure which is correct. But I have noted it here. But the death cert. indicated Jones as maiden name. It would not be the first death cert. to be wrong though. Also not the first tree to be incorrect on ancestry. Will still leave this to family that knows to work out the details if Mariah Elizabeth Hardcastle and Elizabeth Jane Jones are the same person.
