Walter Hunt
Three years after his retirement from the Frisco, which he served many years in the capacity of conductor, yardmaster and station agent, Walter Hunt, 72, of 757 West Walnut street, died yesterday at 2 o'clock at his home. He is survived by his wife, Luella, a brother, Will Hunt of Dallas, Tex., a sister, Mrs. E. L. Morehouse of Burlingame, Cal., and several nieces and nephews.
Hunt was born in Springfield at Walnut street and Grant avenue and lived here his entire life. He was a member of South Street Christian Church, of the Masonic lodge, and was secretary of the Order of Railway Conductors. He was retired February 22, 1929.
Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at South Street Christian Church, with Dr. C. Emerson Miller officiating and burial will be in Hazelwood under direction of Alma Lohmeyer Funeral home.
