Charlie traveled to Springfield, MO in 1885, where Eugene Jones was now living. It was here that he met his future wife, Ella May Evans. They married on Jan. 13, 1892 and moved to Barton County with their two daughters in 1919 and settled in the Milford community, where he farmed until retirement.
