Obituary:
Olive E. Rothenberger, a resident of LaVerne, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 1984 in Woods Memorial Convalescent Hospital, LaVerne. Mrs. Rothenberger was born August 21, 1885 in Lawrence, Ks., she had resided in San Marino for many years. She was the first society editor for the San Marino Tribune. She had resided in Hillcrest Homes in LaVerne for the past 15 years. She was a member of the San Marino Community Church, a Charter Member of the San Marino Chapter of the D.A.R., also a member of the Mayflower Daughters. Surviving are 2 sons, Eugene of Arcadia and Warren of San Gabriel; 4 nieces Jane O. Beeman of Escondido, Anabell Kimball of Carlsbad, Martha Jane Corbin Prowell of Council Grove, KS and Miss Mildred Lucile Williamson of California; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. in the San Marino Community Church, 1750 Virginia Rd. Private committal inurnment services were held in Live Oak Cemetery Mausoleum, Monrovia. Todd Memorial Chapel Pomona in charge of arrangements.

Sister of Elsie V. Corbin Beeman, Adelaide Louise Corbin Williamson and Howard Henry Corbin.Elsie Corbin Beeman is entombed at same location as her sister, Olive Rothenberger. A niece, Adelaide Louise Williamson Dean preceded her in death.
