Last Sunday August 16th, at 1 o'clock, Miss Eliza Jane Michaelson. passed away into eternal rest after an illness of one year.
Miss Michaelson was born on May 11 1879, in St Charles Idaho. Her parents having moved to Star Valley on the 29th of July 1891 at which place they have resided.
Funeral services were held in the Ward Meeting House, last Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock; Consoling speeches were made by Bishop Osborne Low, Arthur Burton, B.O. Gardner and Archie Moffet. "Some Time We'll Understand" was sang by Messrs. Thos. F. Burton and Mark Hurd, as well as many other beautiful selection by the choir; which were under the leadership of Bro. Mark Hurd. The casket was profusely covered with floral tributes presented by many sympathizing friends. Interment was made at the cemetery.
The deceased leaves a father and mother, nine sisters and thirteen brothers besides a multitude of friends to mourn her loss. she was a true and affectionate child and a kind and loving sister. Though she has passed from the scenes; conflicts, sorrows and pleasures of this world, she will still remain within the hearts of all those who knew her.
The bereaved stricken family have the heartfelt sympathy of this entire community in the sad hour.
