Dec 1793 Rockbridge Co., VA Marriage Bond for Alexander McCorkle and Sar(crossed off) Milly Wech (no L), the daughter of Thomas Welch (see photo).

On 1 Jan 1794, "Milly" Welch married Alexander McCorkle in Rockbridge Co., VA.

On the 1850 Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found farmer Alexander McCorkle, 76, with $3K in real estate; Mildred Welch McCorkle, 73 and farmer William McCorkle, 33, all Virginia born.

Henrietta Hamilton McCormick's Genealogies and Reminiscences, 1896, Chicago, p 112-118, lists their families with some dates, spouses and more children.
