MIA – KENNETH SLAGLE

As we celebrate POW/MIA Prayer Week and the
13th Anniversary of the Vietnam War Peace accords, various groups around the United States will be holding programs to remember prisoners of war and people 1isted as missing in action.
Fifty-four Minnesota servicemen are listed as MIA in Vietnam. They include 47 Minnesota residents and seven who originally were from Minnesota, but enlisted in other states. We have a MIA from Longville who should be remembered in your prayers.
Kenneth Eugene Slagle was born august 10, 1927 in Longville, MN, grew up here, and graduated from Northland High School in 1947.
He enlisted and served in the U.S.Navy during WWII. He was later drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was reported missing in action on November 6. 1951. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Slagle, now deceased. He has many brothers and sisters in this area.
