WILLIAM ANDERSON SERVICES ARE CONDUCTED TODAY
CHESTERTON, Sept. 5 - Services for William Anderson, 65, lifelong resident of Chesterton, who died Saturday afternoon of a heart attack in his home at RFD 1, Chesterton, were held this morning.
The decedent was born in Porter county, Oct. 11, 1884, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Anderson. He had lived at the same home for the past 58 years. He married Elizabeth Schweir of McCool, Oct 12, 1911, in St. Patrick's church, Chesterton. he was a member of St. Patrick's church and the Holy Name society of that church.
Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth; seven children, Florence, Richard, Robert and Howard at home; Mrs. Mary Heydorn of Gary, Charles A. Anderson of Valparaiso, and Mrs. Bess Martinal of Valparaiso; four grandchildren, Lynn and William August Anderson and Joyce and David Martinal, all of Valparaiso.
Services today were in St. Patrick's church with the Rev. E. F. Eisenhardt officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Edmonds Brothers Funeral home was in charge.
