MRS. ANDERSON OF CHESTERTON DIES SUNDAY
Mrs. Mary Anderson, age 77 years, wife of C. A. Anderson, former county commissioner, died Sunday night at 8:45 o'clock at her home in Chesterton. She had been in ill health for the last three years.
The decedent was born in Chicago August 26, 1858, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wannegar, and was married to C. A. Anderson on November 21, 1880, in St. Patrick's church, Chesterton, by Rev. Kroll. With the exception of three and a half years, the couple always resided in Chesterton.
Surviving besides the husband are four children, Mrs. Joseph Yagelski, William A. Anderson, Mrs. Margaret M. Anderson and Mrs. Alice Wiseman, the latter wife of B. Joseph Wiseman, bailiff of the Porter circuit court. There are also fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic church, in Chesterton, Rev. E. H. Eisenhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.
