FLORENCE E DILLION, DIES AT AGE 90

Florence E. Dillon, of Chesterton, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Altera Clair Bridge Cottage, Valparaiso. She was 90.

She was born July 1, 1914 in Chesterton, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Schweir) Anderson, both of whom preceded her in death.

On Aug. 22, 1953 she married Russel Dillon, who preceded her in death June 26, 1996.

She is survived by three brothers, Richard Anderson and Robert (Gisele) Anderson, both of Chesterton, Howard Anderson of Vero Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mary C. Heydorn of Valparaiso; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Anderson and a sister, Elizabeth Martinal.

Florence was a life long resident and was retired from Northern Indiana Public Service Company where she was employed as a billing clerk. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's School eighth grade and a 1932 graduate of Liberty Twp. High School. She was a member of St. Patrick Women's Club and a sewing group.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd. Interment will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery, Chesterton.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.
