Tyra A Mills' OBITUARY:
Tyra Mills, 83, of Farrington township, a retired farmed, died at his home in northeastern Jefferson county, Keenes, IL.
He was born November 7, 1881 in Wayne county, the son of George E. and Nancy Alvis Mills.
On December 8, 1907 he was married to Cora R. Wilson, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Marvin Mills; two daughters, Reba Byars and Mildred June McKinstry; two sisters, Hattie Cornstubble and Nettie Burkitt; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Garrrison Temple church of which he was a member. Burial in the adjoining cemetry.
