Came to Portage County with her husband, James Chapman, about 1831. Raised 11 children to adulthood in in Edinburg, Ohio.
She was born in Chester Co PA and md 10 Mar 1831 in London Grove, PA to James Chapman. They first moved to Columbiana Co OH then to Edinburg Portage Co OH where they lived until their deaths. The obit says they had 11 children but we find one born /died in 1838 Anna Chapman, but we don't find a burial? Maybe with her grandparents the Myers in Rootstown Ohio.
