Mrs. Cora Jane Holtzhauer, wife of the late Charles E. Holtzhauer, died in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital Sunday, November 5, 1939 at 9:35 p.m. following a two week illness. She was aged 66 years. Surviving are three sons and one daughter; Fred Detroit, Mich.; Delbert, New Kensington; Wlliam Holtzhauer and Mrs. Elizabeth McGaughey, both of Kittanning; five grandchildren; her mother Mrs. Wyland Lasher, New Kensington; six brothers and two sisters; Arda Lasher, Kittanning R.D. 3; James Lasher, New Kensington; Mrs. Edward H. Shaffer, Kittanning; Mrs. Ambrose Bowser, West Kittanning; William Lasher, New Kensington: John Lasher, Pittsburgh; L. A. Lasher Erie; and Loven Lasher of Adrian. The body was returned to the Rhodes Funeral Home to be prepared for burial and will be taken to the residence of her daughter Mrs. Elizabeth McGaughey, 403 Clay street this afternoon where funeral service will be held Tuesday November 7, at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. W. K. Morgan of the First Baptist church of which Mrs. Holtzhauer was a faithful member. Interment will take place in the family burial plot in the Kittanning cemetery.
