John Harvey Lasher, 85, of Fort Lauderdale Florida, (formerly of Adrian), died July 23 in Fort Lauderdale where he had lived the past, two years with his son, Judge Humes T. Lasher. Born in Adrian, Armstrong County, on June 29, 1886, he was the son of Wyland and Catherine (Frick) Lasher. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret (Truitt) Lasher. Surviving are one son Judge Lasher; two grandchildren and two great - grandchildren; one sister, Minerva (Lasher) Shaffer of Kittanning; and one brother, Dr. L. A. Lasher of Erie. Services were held for Mr. Lasher on July 27 at the Liningers Funeral Home, Curwensville, Pa. Burial followed in Hawthorn Cemetery.

Lasher, Erie, Pennsylvania; sister Mrs. Edward Shaffer of Kittanning, Pennsylvania; 2 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchildren. Services and Interment will be In Pennsylvania. CURWENSVILLE — John Harvey Lasher, 85, formerly of Pittsburgh and Curwensville, died in Fort Lauderdale Fla., Friday morning. He was born in Pennsylvania June 29. 1896. For the last five years he has lived in Fort Lauderdale with his son, Humes. In addition to his son, he is survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren: a brother, Dr. Lemuel Lasher of Erie; and a sister, Mrs. Edward Shaffer of Kittanning. He was preceded in death by his wife. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a. m. from the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home. Burial will be made in Hawthorne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p m. Sunday until time of services Tuesday.
