William C. Lasher, 81 Seven St. Road, Upper Burrell TWP., New Kensington RD 2, died at 3:30 a.m. today (Dec. 8, 1965) in his home following a short illness. Mr. Lasher was born March 14 1884 in Adrian, Pa. a son of Wyland and Catherine (Frick) Lasher. He had been a resident of New Kensington for the past 35 years. He was a retired employee of the Pittsburgh plate Glass Company in Creighton and a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church, New Kensington. He was preceded in death by his wife Kissiah Lasher on Aug. 11, 1960; a daughter, Mrs. Freda Miller, April 25, 1961; and a brother, James H. Lasher, Feb 14 1964. Survivors include a son, Clarence W. at home; a daughter, Mrs. Otto (Hazel) MleKush Of Santa Ana, Calif., Two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Shaffer and Mrs. Maude Bowser, both of Kittanning; three brothers, John H. of Wilkinsburg, Dr. L. A. Lasher of Erie and Loven L. of Santa Ana. Calif.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Lasher – Friends of William C. Lasher of Seven St. Road, Upper Burrell Twp., New Kensington RD 2, who died at 3:30 a.m. Dec. 8, 1965 in his home will be received in the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Asa C. Martin, church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Arnold. Arrangements by Walker.
