She was a life long resident of West Weber and had been active in civic affairs. A member of the West Weber Ward, she had been a teacher and recreation director in the YWMIA, Relief Society counselor, religion class and primary teacher. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, No. 34 of West Weber. She had been secretary of serviceman's activities of the West Weber Ward.
Surviving are five sons, Mar Hancock, Gene H. Hancock, Val J. Hancock, Reed B. Hancock, Terry D. Hancock, all of West Weber, one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Goodfellow, Alameda, Calif.; 22 grandchildren, five brothers, J. Glen Blanch, John R. Blanch, both of Ogden; Dr. G. T. Blanch, Logan, J. Donald Blanch, Burley Idaho; Dr. Grant E. Blanch, Corvalis, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. William N. (Sarah) Judkins, Granger, Utah; Mrs. Parley L. (Eliza) Wagstaff, West Weber, Mrs. Lee (Ethel) Stoker, Nyssa, Ore.
