Ethel Blanch Stoker
OTHELLO, Wash - Ethel Elizabeth Blanch Stoker, 76, former Ogden resident, died Friday, April 17, 1987 at her home of cancer. She was born Sept. 23, 1910 in West Weber, a daughter of Joseph and Laura Mae Etherington Blanch. She married Lee H. Stoker June 12, 1929, in the Logan LDS Temple. She attended school in West Weber and graduated from Weber County High School. She was a member of the LDS Church, and served many years in the Primary and on the Primary stake board. She was also active in Relief Society. She served a mission to England for two years with her husband.

Surviving are her husband of Othello, Wash.; four sons and two daughters, Keith Stoker, Othello, Wash; Jesse Stoker, and Jim Stoker, both of Basin City, Wash: Denis Stoker, Moses Lake, Wash.; Mrs. Ray (Vanae) Knight, Connell, Wash.; Mrs. David (Lora Jo) Phillips, Royal City, Wash.; 38 grandchildren and 39 great - grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Parley (Eliza) Wagstaff, West Weber; John R. Blanch, Ogden, Donald J. Blanch, Burley, Idaho; and Grant E. Blanch Corvallis, Ore.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers, and two sisters.

Services will be Tuesday in Othello LDS Ward Chapel at 11 a.m. with burial in the Othello Cemetery. Funeral directors, Muscott Funeral Home, Othello, Wash.
