Married Nov. 22, 1922 to Isaac Berlin Poling son of Stewart Poling and Nancy Boliner Poling. Hallie was the daughter of Arthur Blake and Flora Belle Duckworth Blake.

HALLIE BLAKE POLING

Hallie Blake Poling, 94, of Boyles Street, Grafton, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at Grafton City Hospital.
She was born in Moatsville, Aug. 4, 1905, daughter of the late Arthur and Flora Duckworth Blake. She was a loving mother and a Methodist by faith.

She is survived by three daughters and two spouses, Nancy Sapp and Eddie Gordon of Grafton, and Elaine and Tom Mauller of Grafton; and Barbara Alexander of Moatsville; two sons and spouses, Arthur and Faye Poling, and Johnny and Thelma Poling, all of Grafton; two sons-in-law, Bub Austin of Cleveland, and Donald A. Slaton of Grafton; a brother, Darl Blake of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; 35 grandchildren and several great- and great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Isaac B. Poling who passed away November 20th 1947. Two daughters, Callie Jane Austin and Martha "Mickey" Slaton; a son, Isaac "Dow" Poling; two sisters, Callie Brown, and Pansy Phillips; and a brother Vernon Blake.

Friends may call at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home, U.S. 50, Grafton, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, with Pastor Marty Basil officiating Burial will be in Bluemont Cemetery, Grafton.
