MASSENA--Funeral services for Orland Yarger, 78, who died Tuesday at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church with the Rev. Carl Crouse officiating and burial in the Massena cemetery. Mr Yarger, son of John and Louise Denham Yarger, was born Aug 5, 1883 near Massena and was married in June 1909 to Flossie Archer who died March 18, 1938. On December 7, 1942 he was married to Dorothy Combe and she died Nov 7, 1960.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Merle Thompson, of Omaha, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs Minnie Shields of Ames, Mrs Clara Brandon of Milwaukee, Wisc, and Mrs Hazel Phipps of Des Moines, and four brothers, Neal and Rex Yarger of Massena, John Yarger of Des Moines, and Cecil Yarger of St Louis.
